Valium 10mg (Diazepam) is a benzodiazepine prescribed for managing anxiety, muscle spasms, alcohol withdrawal, and certain types of seizures. It promotes relaxation and a calming effect by acting on the brain and nerves.
For adults and children over 12: Follow doctor's prescription. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
For children under 12: Only use under strict medical supervision.
Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants. May cause dizziness or drowsiness. Not advised for pregnant or breastfeeding women without doctor’s consultation.
When used as prescribed, Valium is generally not addictive. However, misuse or prolonged use can lead to dependence.
Valium typically starts working within 30 to 60 minutes after ingestion.
